Question 1

Where do you work?

Accepted Answer

Northampton is the operating base. We work across Northamptonshire and nearby UK towns, and remote delivery is possible when the project does not require local attendance.

Question 2

Which businesses are the best fit?

Accepted Answer

The core specialism is pet care: dog walkers, groomers, sitters, trainers, home boarders, kennels, daycares and veterinary practices. We also take selected local service and trade projects where the same booking and local-search problems apply.

Question 3

How do we decide what to build first?

Accepted Answer

We start with the current bottleneck: weak enquiries, poor local visibility, a confusing booking path, repetitive admin or an unreliable website. The first scope should solve that problem rather than add features for their own sake.

Question 4

Can you rebuild an existing website?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We assess what is worth keeping, what is causing friction and whether the safest path is a focused rebuild, a migration or improvements to the existing site.

Question 5

Are you tied to Wix or another site builder?

Accepted Answer

No. The current delivery is not tied to one builder. We choose or preserve the stack based on the project, ownership, maintainability and the systems that must remain connected.

Question 6

Can you connect an online booking system?

Accepted Answer

Yes when the booking provider and project scope support it. We can integrate an existing booking service or design the enquiry and booking journey around the tools you already use.

Question 7

Do you offer ongoing website care?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Care-plan work can cover updates, monitoring, small content changes and regular performance or SEO checks. The exact responsibilities are agreed before the plan starts.

Question 8

Can you guarantee a number-one Google ranking?

Accepted Answer

No. Search rankings depend on competition, relevance, authority and factors outside any web designer's control. We can improve the technical, content and local-business signals that make the site easier to understand and more competitive.

Question 9

What does local SEO work include?

Accepted Answer

Typical work includes service and location-page structure, titles and metadata, internal linking, structured data, Google Business Profile guidance, citation consistency and useful content around real customer questions.

Question 10

Do you create fake location pages for towns where I do not operate?

Accepted Answer

No. Location pages should describe genuine service coverage and useful local context. We do not present virtual offices or invented addresses as real premises.

Question 11

What can you automate?

Accepted Answer

Common examples include form routing, notifications, booking confirmations, reminders, review requests and CRM or spreadsheet updates. Each automation is scoped around the APIs, permissions and failure handling available in the systems involved.

Question 12

Can I audit my current website before commissioning a rebuild?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tail-Wagging Tools can run the owned website audit against a public URL, and a deeper service review can add UX, accessibility and implementation priorities where needed.

Question 13

What is the difference between a Tool and a Blueprint?

Accepted Answer

A Tool is a usable public capability. A Blueprint documents a governed workflow or operating design without pretending that every step is a ready-made SaaS product. The Tools page labels that distinction explicitly.

Question 14

What do the published package prices cover?

Accepted Answer

They cover the deliverables listed on the Pricing page. If your migration, integrations, content or automation requirements change that scope, we quote the difference before work begins.

Question 15

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Published packages have a current online checkout route. Custom scopes are agreed before payment. If you are unsure whether a package fits, contact us first rather than paying for the wrong scope.

Question 16

How are revisions and hand-off handled?

Accepted Answer

The project scope defines review points, what counts as a revision, the production hand-off and any continuing maintenance responsibilities. That keeps ownership and expectations explicit.

Question 17

How long will my project take?

Accepted Answer

Timing depends on the size of the site, content readiness, integrations and review cycles. We confirm the delivery sequence after reviewing the actual scope rather than publishing a generic promise.
