Service

Local SEO & Content Strategy

Improve the local-search signals that help customers and search engines understand where you work and what you offer. The scope can include Google Business Profile guidance, location and service content, on-page SEO, citation consistency, internal linking and a practical content plan. Rankings are not guaranteed; the focus is on stronger first-party evidence and clearer local relevance.

Scope

What is normally included.

The final scope is agreed for the project, but these are the standard pieces this service is built around.

Google Business Profile optimisation (categories, services, photos, posts)

On-page SEO (titles, meta, headings, internal linking, schema)

Location & service pages with natural, non-spammy copy

Citation building & NAP consistency across directories

Light content plan: 4–8 posts answering owner questions

Review acquisition framework + UTM tracking for GBP

Process

A small sequence with an evidence boundary.

  1. 1

    Establish the facts

Confirm services, genuine areas, business identity and the pages that can support those claims.

  2. 2

    Fix the structure

Align titles, headings, internal links, schema and local-business information.

  3. 3

    Fill useful gaps

Create service, location or question-led content only where it adds first-party evidence.

  4. 4

    Measure over time

Use Search Console, GBP and site behaviour to decide what deserves another iteration.

Questions

What people usually need clarified.

How quickly will local SEO improve rankings?

There is no fixed ranking timeline or guaranteed position. The work improves relevance, crawlability, local-business consistency and the quality of first-party pages so the site has stronger signals to compete with.

Which towns can you create pages for?

Only genuine service areas. Location pages should explain real coverage and useful local context; they should not invent offices or pretend a business operates somewhere it does not.

Do I need a blog?

Not automatically. We use content when it answers real customer questions or supports a service/search gap. A thin publishing schedule is not a substitute for strong core pages.

Want to know whether this is the right scope?
